ZONING PERMITS EXPIRE ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF ISSUANCE.

ZONING FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERRABLE AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF A ZONING PERMIT.

Schedule I

The Following Schedules of General Fees are established and adopted by Resolution, by the Twinsburg Township Board of Trustees. They shall be amended only by resolution by the Board of Township Trustees. Until all such appropriate fees, charges, and expenses have been paid in full by the applicant, no action shall be taken on any application, appeal, or administrative procedure.

THE ZONING INSPECTOR CANNOT APPROVE A ZONING APPLICATION FOR ANY PROPERTY WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP WHICH IS IN VIOLATION OF THE CURRENT ZONING REGULATIONS. UNTIL THE VIOLATOINS HAVE BEEN RESOLVED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ZONING INSPECTOR AND THE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

A. NEW CONSTRUCTION

Detached or attached single family dwellings, etc. including

Townhouses and condominium units, not including garages: $1,500.00 each unit

B. APARTMENTS, EACH SUITE:

One (1) bedroom suite $100.00

Two (2) bedroom suite $125.00

Three (3) bedroom suite $150.00

C. NON ATTACHED GARAGES, CARPORTS, EACH COVERED CAR SPACE

IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE FEE $50.00

D. MOTEL, HOTEL, MERCANTILE, BUSINESS OR INDUSTRIAL STRUCTURE, INCLUDING GROUND AREA COVERED WITH ANY TYPE OF PERMANENTLY

ELEVATED COVER

(i.e. roof) 1,000 square feet or less $300.00

Each additional one (100) square feet (per level) $25.00

E. SIGNS

Signs up to twenty (20) square feet in area

Permanent Signs $35.00

Temporary Signs (6 months) $25.00

Signs up to thirty two (32) square feet in area $50.00

F. DECKS

Docks up to two hundred (200) square feet in area $25.00

Each additional increase of one hundred (100) square feet or less $10.00

G. ACCESSORY STRUCTURES

Accessory Structures (garages, accessory buildings, carports, etc.):

Residential: 1-100 square feet $20.00

Each Additional increase of one hundred (100) square feet or less $10.00

(i.e. commercial, industrial, ect.) $200.00

(An accessory structure 5 X 7 ft. does not require a permit)

H. PERMIT FOR DEMOLITION OF A STRUCTURE $50.00

I. FENCES

Residential $15.00

Non-Residential:

Up to one hundred (100) feet $25.00

Up to two hundred (200) feet $35.00

Over two hundred (200) feet $50.00

J. OCCUPANCY PERMITS IN COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS $50.00

K. TOWERS $50.00

L. WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS & CO LOCATIONS $250.00

M. RE-ROOF $25.00

N. ADDITIONS/ ALTERATIONS/ REMODELING

Residential Additions/ Alterations

0-200 square feet $30.00

200 square feet to 1,000 square feet $75.00

Over 1,000 square feet $125.00

Commercial/ Industrial/ Non Residential Additions/ Alterations 200.00Over 1,000 square feet $300.00

O. RATES FOR ZONING PERMITS FOR SPECIAL STRUCTURES SHALL BE FIXED BY THE TRUSTEES OF THE TOWNSHIP UPON APPLICATION IN WRITING TO THE TOWNSHIP FISCAL OFFICER WITH A DESCRIPTIVE DRAWING OF THE STRUCTURE AT LEAST THIRTY (30) DAYS PRIOR TO THE ISSUING OF THE PERMIT.

P. SWIMMING POOLS

Residential:

Permanent (in ground type) $50.00

Portable (Above ground; twenty four (24) inches or more in depth) $25.00

Commercial, Community, or Association Swimming Pool $250.00

Residential/ Non Residential manmade lakes, ponds, etc. $100.00

Q. SPECIAL STRUCTURES

Fees for zoning permits for special structures shall be determined by the Board of Trustees upon application in writing to the Township Fiscal Officer with a description and a scaled drawing of the proposed structure or land use prior to applying for the permit.

Tents for use as a place for public assembly

Tents for all other purposes, when left erected for more than for more than fourteen days $25.00

Trailers used for mobile offices on construction sites or for the storage of equipment & supplies $25.00

WORK STARTED OR COMPLETED WITHOUT A ZONING PERMIT WILL DOUBLE THE REGULAR FEE

 

Schedule II

Fees for applications and approvals and inspections. The Fiscal Officer of the Township or Zoning Inspector shall collect all fees according to the following schedule:

Applications for a hearing before the Board of Zoning Appeals, application for amendment to the Zoning Resolution and application for a zone change

Residential: $300 (non-refundable)

Other: $500 (non-refundable)

Additional Expenses: Additional studies or expenses that are determined to be necessary by the Zoning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, and/ or Board of Trustees, and that exceed the amount of the deposit shall be billed to and shall be the responsibility of the applicant.

Approvals:

Site Inspections, review of plans or drawings or applications, for the purpose of approval, and not requiring the issuance of a certificate or permit. $30

Re-inspection or review due to incomplete or inaccurate information, for the purpose of approval or issuance of a certificate or permit, each occurance. $30

Schedule III

Fees for reproduction and other costs.

The Trustees or Fiscal Officer or a Secretary or Administrator or Zoning Inspector shall collect all fees according to the following schedule:

8 1/2 X 14 or smaller, per side: 25 cents each

Comprehensive Plan: $50

Zoning Resolution (includes Zoning Map): $50

Zoning map: $2

Architectural and site drawings, other maps or renderings or color copies: At cost
